We own several mushroom field guides. This one will become a regular for us. I really like that it includes several edible mushrooms that the other books do not give pictures or in-depth explanations for. We look forward to trying a few of the recipes as well. Thanks for making the book easy to read and understand. I will recommend it to my friends who also like to hunt for edible mushrooms.
Sometimes you can judge a book by it's cover. The morel image came from Shutterstock and was made by a photographer from Poland. The top images are also stock images. The bottom right image came from a French stock agency. It was identified there as Agaricus arvensis, a misidentification. It's appears to be actually Chlorophyllum molybdites a poisonous mushroom. What kind of forager doesn't have their own images? You know the AInswer.
