The school has a play writing contest and the winner is picked to put on a fund raiser play for the town. A week before the play, the instruments and score are stolen. Gracie gets involved in trying to figure out who took them and where they could be. She is hired to cater the Mayor’s wife luncheon the day after the mayor’s son is arrested for vandalism and learns more about the troubles the family has. Uncle Miltie is having trouble with her cat ruining is computer.

My dumbass thought this was a murder mystery. Overall, it was cute. The solution to the mystery was flimsy in my opinion but I really enjoyed the characters. I can’t give it more than a 3 stars strictly because the mystery was bland. But again, I enjoyed the characters. It was a quick, easy read.
