This is an oldie from 1980. No jumping into bed right after meeting each other for the first time and getting pregnant like they do in more recent HP’s. Just kissing until they’re married.
So therefore he has to pursue her. I like his pursuit. He wants to have her always with him. He picks her up for lunch, he picks her up for dinner, he can’t stay away from her.
No big drama, no cruelty. He’s a dominant guy, but still nice.
