There are also charts giving gouache, acrylic, oil, watercolor and textile dye equivalents. The result is a good basic guide to mixing colors that painters and textile artists will find invaluable.

A basic exploration of the use of color in painting. Contains several different color wheels for various functions. The author also explains how to mix colors to get various other colors and tints. There is a useful glossary at the end as well as a functional index.
