The case that brought me to tears was the murdered babies, some only two or three weeks old. There was no definite count, but somewhere between 1 and 40 in a period of a few months. I thought of the grief of all those parents who had their infants torn from them.
Unsolved murders are puzzles to be solved, so it is disheartening to learn that so many of these crimes were so ineptly investigated.
