Thank you for wanting to read my book. This is my first children's book and I sure hope you and your child or children enjoy it as much as my grandchildren have.
Ruby is a little red hen looking for her sleeping spot. Can you help her find her perfect house?
The story of Ruby came to me one night. Ruby is a unique pet to our family and we would love to share her story with you. When we got Ruby, we weren't really ready for her, so she didn't have coop.
Will Ruby finally have her own place to sleep?
Find out when you read about our Ruby.
Please excuse the version of this ebook. As this was my first time publishing a children's book, you'll notice some misplaced fonts. However, the print copy came out fabulous!
This book is written for children ages 4 to 7. It will help them especially city children to learn about small animals to some extent. Today we live at a time where the movement from rural to city has resulted in many children never seeing a live animal except on TV or at a zoo though there aren't often farm animals at the zoo. The simple tale of where will the chicken sleep serves many purposes as a teaching tool for young children and in many cases will cause the child to think about chickens in a way not done before.
This is a true story about how a family welcomed a chicken named Ruby into their home. It feels like grandma telling you about her amusing day, with a bonus anecdote about her grandkid. It’s a warm and cozy book!
I enjoyed reading this endearing story about finding a bed for Ruby. With my curiosity aroused, I was engaged until the end. I am certain that young readers will find the story as interesting as I did.
What an adorable attempt by the author to create awareness about pet chickens! It can make a wonderful night time book for little kids! They will love Ruby! The illustrations are vibrant! The additional conversations and message by the author at the end of the book is like cherry on top!
