This book was first published in 2001, and it's very very behind the times now - we used it for A-level and we ended up having to tell the person leading the class the ways in which this book was out-dated and simply incorrect. Even in 2001, it would have been patronising and not particularly informative. This might be a useful introduction for complete beginners (aged about 16 or below) but it's not helpful beyond that point.
