With his best friend Eddie as his partner for the science fair competition, Matt is certain they will win the big prize, yet when problems with working together begin to surface, Eddie fears that the competition, as well as their friendship, is in great jeopardy and destined for a very bad ending.
This book is called, "That Crazy Eddie and the Science Project of Doom," and it is by Judy Cox. This book is about two friends who have a lot of brotherly love, even though they are friends. All they want is to win the science this year and win the grand prize of 50 dollars. Their is just one thing in their way, Allison and Jasmine, or is that the only problem.
I enjoyed reading this book because I can relate to the scenarios that they are in or put their selves in. This book is also very interesting. I always wanted to keep reading the book, no matter what obstacles I had to go through. This book could get slow at one or two points, but other than that the book has strong grammar and is written very well, I thought.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read humorous books, and who like books with constant problems. This book can be bad if you tell yourself that. This book is kind of like go with the flow in its own way. I really liked this book and hope you do too.
Matt wants to win the Third-Grade Science Fair, but his "loose cannon" best friend is his partner. When Eddie slips up with a bad decision, Matt wants nothing to do with his former friend, even if that means withdrawing from the science fair. An ordinary story with a common science project and a predictable ending. Directions to make Matt and Eddie's project are included in the back of the book.
That Crazy Eddie and the Science Fair Project of Doom was a great book. It was about two best friends that are doing a science fair project for very different reasons. Eddie was doing the project for the 50 points extra credit so that he won't fail science. Matt was doing the project to try to buy the skateboard of his dreams with glow in the dark wheels and yellow flames. After Matt gets sick, Eddie spreads rumors that he had diarrhea. That is very upset and decided to rip their project and not be partners. What happens next is mystery. I really enjoyed how the author wrote this book. It was very nice how they work together to figure out their problems. I did not like how short the book was, I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer. I would recommend this book to boys and girls of all ages. I would also recommend this book toiled who enjoy shorter books that are very interesting. It was a very good book and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
The third book I read the school year was "That Crazy Eddie and the science fair project of doom," by Judy Cox. Some of the main characters in this book were Max, Eddie, Jasmine, Michael Black, and Alison. When Max was walking around he found a sign that was advertising a science fair and the first place winner got a grand prize of $50. This was the exact amount that Max needed to buy his dream skateboard. Max wanted Eddie to be his partner because Eddie always had a good idea for an experiment because his dad was a scientist himself. Max ran into challenges like Alison who wanted to win too, and Eddie his own partner telling the whole school that Max was sick which embarrassed Max. What I liked about this book was how Max overcame what Eddie said to the class about being sick and they came together and still made a really good science fair project. What I didn't like about this project was how Max had to stay home from school, I felt really bad because he couldn't work on his project this whole time. One thing I would change about this book was how they made the volcano even better. I would've made it that the volcano lava shoots through the holes of the volcano. I would recommend this book to all of my friends because they all love books about science fairs. I loved this book and if I had another chance to read this I would in a second
This story is taking place at school in Matt's classroom on a Friday night. There was noise everywhere! People were chatting, parents and students. Brittany was trying to tape the plants straight because the plants were slanted. Michael B. and Michael S. were chasing after the "Jupiter" ball. People had potato clocks and others had rock collection. Some had a pet iguana in a tank. Allison and Jasmine had a pretty display of a pithole camerea, and the pictures they have took. They even wrote a report. They would win. This setting interested me because if you won the science fair, you would get $50 US dollars-like 1,700 NT dollars, enought to buy the controlled helicopter. I would like to go to this setting because if you won the 1st place in the science project (1,700 NT dollars)enought to buy the controlled helicopter I wanted. The main character acts excited because if Matt won the 1st place in the science project (1,700 NT dollars), Matt would buy the glow in the dark neon flames skateboard.
I really wanted this book to be as good as its title, but it wasn't. The plot was thinner and more predictable than usual with this level, the science project wasn't that amazing, and I never saw anything that proved "that Eddie is just so crazy!" It was really boring, and I'm glad I didn't foist it off on a student without completely reading it first.
