I appreciated how many practical strategies this book offered. I feel like I can take these strategies and use them immediately in my classroom. Read this for an ELL endorsement program, and it was practical and helpful. It was a little repetitive at times, but I think it will be a great resource in my classroom.

Excellent choice for our latest PD read! Full of ready-to-use ideas and provided the springboard for improvement to EL services in our 8th Grade Social Studies program.
