Finally, SQL Made Simple:
I was terrified of SQL before this book. Coming from a management background with zero coding experience, database queries felt impossible. After months of confusing online courses, a colleague recommended Dane Wade’s book.
Dane writes like he’s your mentor, not some distant expert. He shares his own SQL struggles, which made me feel less alone. The installation guide was a lifesaver as he walks through every step for Mac users like me, even covering the weird error messages you’ll encounter.
What clicked for me was how each concept builds on the previous one. Instead of just throwing commands at you, he explains WHY before HOW. The retail store examples made perfect sense, I could actually visualize the data he was talking about.

I love how it was created for a beginner to mid level who would want to know or enhance their skills in SQL.
I love how the introduction was created especially, how this book can help you part.
I like how every detail was discussed and the examples. Though, I noticed that there are some duplicate words but barely noticeable.
There's just one thing I was looking for in this book and it would be great if they can add it in the next version should there be any "Stored Procedures".
I highly recommend this book for all beginners and who wants to refresh their memories about the basics in SQL.

Great introduction to SQL .
Concepts are clearly explained. I would suggest it for beginners. Personally it helped me understand SQL without overwhelming technical Jargons .
