Not the most inspiring book I've ever read, but I did finish it.
A young man turns up claiming to be the son of Alice, who has unfortunately died in an accident several years before...and so the mystery starts. Who was the father of Alice's child. Memories of the 70's and 80's are turned over and reexamined, until realisation dawns and all becomes clear. The father was someone close to home and more than a little surprising.

I read this on holidauy in Turkey, the general story was okay, it was easy to read but not a great deal happened. That said, I enjoyed the read, but just not overwhelmed by it.
