Rate this book
When it comes to handcrafted wares, there are countless different things you can make, and of all different kinds. Many people do fine, detailed things using fabrics, flosses, and needles, but such delicate crafts aren’t for everyone. Some people like to make something that they can mould more heavily with their own hands. That’s where things like woodworking come into play. Are you interested in working with wood and even with some power tools but you’re not quite ready to take on building entire pieces of furniture? Then you’re the perfect person to start learning how to whittle.

It's so easy to get started in this relaxing and rewarding hobby. All you need is a knife, a twig, and this book!

Bothers me

I've seen most of these pictures in other carving books on Amazon.com. if your going to steal the picture. Did you steal the words too.
Whats really bad is the pages are all scanned. You have to enlarge the page to read them pain in the a@÷××@@@, Carving finger. There are a lot of good books on carving .. this book needs a lot of help. Ps if your just starting get a OCC or a Felxcut knife, around 1.5 or 1.75 long and not to wide from the sharp edge to the back of the blade. Don't buy a chip carving knife unless you want to chip carve. I would guess this person is somewhat new to carving.
