Making mistakes is always disappointing but after reading this book I believe it's time to see things differently. It inspires not to fear when failing and trying to make something good and to your advantage from your mistakes. Barry gives examples and explains in a few simple steps how to proceed in focusing and being effective in whatever we do. I find this book to be transforming.
It's amazing how the author of the book is describing failures as a good thing, by acknowledging it and get up and start all over again. Since when one goes through it once, one can, will learn from it and move on, trying it from a different perspective. This book provides easy to follow methods to do just that. Everyone should read that book before starting a new business, to know what can happen. And when you fail, you get just up and make it better.
A very positive book on how to get up after failure and fears you may have. My friend Barry Pena has written several books that are very informative to our lives, as they give very knowledgeable solutions that are beneficial to every reader.
I recommend this book to organizations as a starting point for discussion about the workplace and becoming more open-minded about failure, stress, focus, slips, and lapses. Also to individuals, families, and maybe a group of friends for self-help purposes. It is very well explained what is a mistake and how to work through a mistake. The Flow Charts are very practical.
A great book that can help anyone work through some personal things. The flowchart was very simple and straightforward to understand, I will definitely apply it to my everyday self-talk. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
