Eli was my everything when we were eighteen. I wanted everything with him; the house in the suburbs, the white picket fence, and a bunch of kids. But life doesn’t always turn out the way you imagine.
Eli was never supposed to be a part of my adult life, he made that clear when he broke my heart and never spoke to me again. I spent most of my college years trying to forget him, yet here I am, weeks after getting divorced being surrounded by memories of him.
Little did I know, fate had other plans, and Eli would become much more than a memory. Yet the question remains, can I forgive him for breaking my heart all those years ago or will the past seep back into our lives and ruin we are starting to create?

Men of the C-Suite is a steamy collection that features executive-level alpha males ready to sweep you off your feet (and maybe onto their desk)! If power suits and dirty talk are your thing, get ready to devour this hot new series from your favorite group of romance authors.
S.A. Clayton lives in a small town outside of Toronto, Canada with her husband and her scary large collection of books that seem to take over every room. She has worked on both sides of the publishing industry, both in a bookstore and for actual publishing companies. Although she loved both for different reasons, she found that writing was her true passion and has spent the last few years breaking into the industry as best she can. She is a lover of all things romance and began her writing journey in her late twenties. Since then, she has immersed herself in the romance genre and couldn't be happier. When she's not writing or reading, she enjoys binging a great Netflix show (Stranger Things anyone?), baking (because who doesn't love cookies!), and spending time with her family.
I'm not sure why I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this Novella. Not only is it second chance romance (my fav by the way) but it didn't feel rushed and the whole chemistry that was blazing hot and the banter was funny that you couldn't help but find yourself thoroughly enjoying this story.
Ever since I read my first book by S.A. Clayton I've been a fan and great reads just keep on coming.
This book was just what I needed at the right time. I didn't have a book hangover, but I was having a hard time deciding what would be next on my list. It packs a huge punch for being a novella, which was a little surprising. Leighton is newly divorced. She's ready to start fresh, even if it means moving home. The only problem is a high probability of running into Eli. He's the one that got away with her broken heart.
Why I loved this book:
-When Eli sees Leighton again for the first time in a bar, he knows this is his sign. He's waited 10 years to make up for his past mistakes, and he's not going to let this opportunity pass him by. Eli's relentless in his pursuit. I appreciated that he realizes his past mistakes, makes amends for them, and then pursues Leighton with a fiery passion.
-Leighton reminds me of being newly divorced. You're so excited for a new start, but you're scared of the change. It's like you have to figure out who you are again. Throw in the fact that your ex is trying to win you back, and it's an identity crisis in the making. If you've ever experienced this, you'll empathize with Leighton. I think S.A. nails all the roller coaster of emotions.
-The best friends - Each best friend lets their person know that getting back together is a big mistake. I really like that they tell it like it is. They don't sugarcoat how much they think this is a bad idea, and I appreciated the honesty. If we're going to have a real situation, then I want real advice, and that's exactly what this was.
UNAUTHORIZED BEHAVIOUR is a quick, hot and enjoyable read. Eli Williams and Leighton Hewitt were teenage sweethearts until Eli suddenly left with no explanations. Ten years later Leighton has returned home after going through a divorce, hitting a local bar with her best friend. There she sees Eli, the man who broke her heart, the man she needs to stay away from.
Even though this is a really short novella, and there is no real character development, it was an enjoyable read. A man who realises he made he made the biggest mistake of his life, sets out to rectify his error, sometimes causing even more hurt. Will pulling out his final "ace in the hole" bring back happiness and love to both their lives?
Siobhan has always been gifted at penning sexy, heated stories, and this one is no different.
This book was amazing. If you like a good second chance romance you will enjoy this book. Leighton has just gotten divorced from her husband and returned to her hometown. She sees Eli for the first time in years at a bar where she was meeting a friend for a drink. Eli sees her and overhears that she is looking for a job and he just happens to be in the need of a personal assistant and gives the job to her. This book was really good and I'm glad that Eli and Leighton got there HEA.
If your looking for something quick with a bit of steam, this second chance story is it. Eli and Leighton were high school sweethearts and then Eli just disappeared. Years later Leighton is back home after her divorce and runs into Eli. Feelings are still there but can she trust her heart to him again. Love the story and the characters.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Eli and Leigh were teenage loves. Firsts for many things, but he broke her heart. Now she's back hone after a divorce and ten years and he's planning on winning her back. Plans can be complicated, take unexpected turns, and not go your way when you are not completely transparent.
Eli and Leighton had a high school thing that ended poorly, to say the least. But no they’re grownups, both back in town, and Eli is willing to pull out all the stops to get Leighton’s attention. The story is a little disjointed, but the steam and HEA are present and in the right places. It’s a novella, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
I absolutely adored this book! This hooked me in from the beginning. God my heart broke for Leighton and how torn she was over Eli breaking her heart. Flash forward 10 years and they get a second chance, but old wounds still aren’t healed. This was beautifully told and I loved the love letters. ❤️
I love second chance romance. Leighton and Eli have a second chance at love now that she is divorced. Will they finally have their HEA? A definite easy well written book. I highly recommend.
I received this ARC from the Author and my review is voluntary.
Men of C-Suite series. A simply fabulous love story. A love lost, found and then fulfilled. It's short and dramatic but it gives you all the feels. You end up cheering for these two. A new author for me and I like very much.
This is a sweet second-chance romance with a Billionaire who goes after his High School sweetheart ten years later. It’s a fun read that you won’t be able to put down.
This book is well written with a storyline that melts your heart. You will find yourself routing for the characters. I would have loved even more of this story.
Leighton has just gotten divorced from her husband and has returned to her hometown and is house sitting while her parents are on an extended vacation and looking for a job. She goes out to drinks with a friend and she sees him. Eli was her everything until her broken heart.
Eli sees her, he has missed her so much, heard she is newly divorced. He hears she is looking for a job, his assistant just quit but he will have to go about this carefully.
I really loved this book, Eli made decisions for both of them with good intension that ended up hurting them both. It is so hot between the two, even with the anger Leighton still has against Eli.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Leighton and Eli meet again, and Leighton was devastated when Eli left suddenly. She didn't understand why or what was happening at the time. Eli has a lot to explain and a lot to make up for for doing that!
Eli has to try to explain to Leighton what happened all those years ago. They both know they can't deny the chemistry they have to one another.
I really enjoyed their story! I love stories in which they connect quickly and they had already had the history between them, and they didn't lose any attraction to one another. So that made the story an emotional rollercoaster in the way of anger, hurt, friendship, lovers, and so on.
It flowed really great, and there weren't any hangups or any places in which I had to read again to make sure I understood something. I literally read this in a couple of hours. I couldn't put it down!
Leighton and Eli have a lot to make up for, and lost time to make up for. And boy do they do that!!
Thank you S.A.! Another amazing book by you!! Can't wait to read more!
Eli and Leighton were in love in high school, and she always though their relationship would be forever, but Eli had other ideas and broke her heart in the process. Leighton returns to her hometown newly divorced and jobless, and she is house sitting for her parents while they go on an extended vacation. While out for a drink with a friend, she crosses path with Eli. Eli sacrifices so much for Leighton to follow her dreams and broke both of their hearts in the process, and now she is home he is determined to redeem himself and convince Leighton to give them a second chance. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with friendships, challenges, anger, heartbreak, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Oh dear, Eli tried to give Leighton her dreams but only gave them both years of misery and hard-feelings! The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
The chemistry between these previously teenaged lovers hasn't diminished over the years, the coals stoke to inferno level fast and furiously. But there is a boatload of misunderstanding, miscommunication, anger and hurt to wade through before the HEA they both deserve arrives.
I'm speed reader and I happily filled my afternoon with this wee gem!
Eli broke things off so that his high school love wouldn't give up her opportunities to soar. He always loved her but didn't want to hold her back. But when Leighton ends up back in their hometown, divorced and jobless, Eli sees the opportunity to correct everything. So he sets out to win her back. There are a few bumps along the way, but they finally get their HEA.
