OMMFG this was an awesome first book and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! That ending was devastating, so be ready to 😭 and rage at the Elder Guards. Poor Marcus and Shadow!!
This is an odd book yet I still enjoyed it. Not much world building or really understanding what things are or mean. We meet to Vampires from another planet who don't know each other but are standing in line for food. There is a serious shortage, and that's pretty much all it takes for these two to team up in a sense and leave this planet together. They somehow find a bit of love along the way, with a lot of drama. Things get way more complicated, and yes, few things are still explained. I'm not sure if i want to continue on reading this series, I just realized there are 8 books!. Lol. I guess we shall see
This is definitely a different vampire novel. Marcus kind of adopted Shadow, a young vampire without a sire's help. They leave their home planet to start over and then build a space ship to go to Earth. For awhile things are well. Bad seemed to follow. TBC book
