Had this book since 2000 had read half of it. Just got around to reading the rest after president Bush 41, died two weeks ago. Much like reading a newspaper editorial with many pictures throughout. Well written and enjoyable - pretty much leave politics out, other than as necessary in passing . Many pictures showing the highlights of the presidents lives. An enjoyable read.

Written in 2000, it was interesting to see how the reporter/author viewed things as they were occurring, in relation to how he viewed them in hindsight while.writing this book.
