This was more as long article than a serious book - but "24 hours" in the title basically said it beforehand. Very high level and brief "tutorial" and only part of the book is actually devoted to Django development. From the other side, as this is starting by creating page with pure html/css, it gives a total beginner reader some perspective of "full-stack" and how Django is helping to the whole thing.
Read already several books on Django topic, I would recommend this one really only for somebody who can see some highlight of web dev using Django.
