The publisher has put together a well-designed set of reference tools for MS Word 365 covering the basic needs for most daily word processing activities. It does not offer details on more complex activities such as writing chapters or generating an index. This long time user of MS Word (since 1983/1984), does appreciate the detail included in these four pages of notes.

I have two concerns. First, MS Word 365 is intentionally a work in progress, designed to be upgraded on a regular basis as updates are added. This Cheat Sheet has no way of being updated as the program grows. My second concern comes from the fact that the pamphlet is written for both Windows and Mac versions of the program - whichever version the reader is using includes wasted space. In addition, the focus on Windows and Mac means that details related to the Android and the on-line versions of MS Word 365 are omitted. Perhaps the publisher should add a web page that can grow and supplement the cheat sheet as the program grows. This addition would allow the author to address both issues - providing for program changes in the future and for alternate versions of the program existing in other environments (whether in a different OS or as offered on-line).

Given the usefulness of the Word for Microsoft 365 Reference and Cheat Sheet and my two concerns, I give this item four stars

I would like to thank i30 Media Corporation for providing an electronic review copy of their “Word for Microsoft 365 REFERENCE & CHEAT SHEET” for Windows and macOS.

This was a fun item to review since I use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint professionally on a daily basis. My primary goal was to see if I could learn something useful and determine if this is something I could recommend to friends and co-workers. This product is exactly as claimed. It is a very usable and highly summarized four page reference/cheat sheet for Microsoft Word. It accurately covers key functionality and procedures that most users would use.

Although most of this content seems to be already available to a good internet sleuth, there is certainly value to having this information formatted and summarized on paper without having to fumble with a web browser to refer to. For those that would like to see exactly what they get before purchasing, at the time of this writing, all four pages are included as product images on Amazon.

The review of “view options” was very useful. I usually just use draft mode, but I see that focus and read modes could be handy on occasion.

On my wish list: the bibliography tool is incredibly powerful and useful when writing papers. I would certainly suggest including it.

As mentioned before this is good reference material. But for me, since I do not need to refer to content like this frequently, I’m not sure if I would purchase it at full value, but it would certainly be appreciated if included with a reference book, or perhaps purchased at a discount as a set.

A big thank you to NetGalley and In 30 Minutes/i30 Media Corp for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this reference sheet. First let me say that I am not a computer person at all,. I am not even sure which Microsoft version I have. I am still trying some of these but so far most work. The thing I would have liked is something that I could print and laminate and have handy. Not a 4 page thing that includes Mac as well. Maybe offer different versions not together in one You could have had 2 pages for Mac and 2 pages for not Mac. I am rambling. 3 stars.

This is a well-researched and well-conceived cheat sheet for Microsoft Word users. As a frequent user, in a variety of settings, both on my desktop and online, I found it extremely valuable. I have been a MacBook user and Word user for well over a decade and found helpful information here that is applicable immediately.
