These are my comment for Physics by the Numbers by Stephen Granade (16 pages)
Excellent little story about getting evaluated by algorithms you cannot argue with. Hopefully it will not happen for something so important. The real stupidity is those people that trusts the algorithms and do not understand 1) garbage in, garbage out 2) humans adapt to algorithms. In the end you get exactly what the algorithm want from people - no matter, if it is productive or not.
