Marissa Dawson ruled over her household with an iron fist. Everything had to go through her because she controlled the money which allowed her to control her children. Once Alyssa decided to take control over her life, everything began to fall apart. It put a wall between Alyssa and Marissa forcing the others to pick a side. But choosing the wrong side could cost them a loved one or worse, their life.
That Alyssa was a smart Queen savage. She dotted all I's and crossed all T's in life. She made those sister's be aware of things also. Linette you have done it again
The suspense had me fully engaged. I didn't want to put this down to do anything. And it's so different from what I've come to expect from this author. There wasn't the creepy, gory, horrific type of suspense that had me hearing things go bump in the night. The main character was truly savage, yes, a queen. She went for hers and brought her sisters along for the ride. She stepped right on and over her mama - the only reason it was acceptable was because mama never earned the title. Everything they were doing was wrong, well, illegal. But they gave back, sort of like Robin Hood. Yes, this one had me floored. Ms King stepped out and did her thing. Great read.
Let me first start off by saying, once again Ms King write a fire book. This book had me with so many emotions and definitely have me feeling some type of way. I definitely wished this a series because I want to know what’s going on in the sister’s lives now. Thank you Ms Kong for always bringing the fire to the pen and paper world.
Shit was straight up savage. For real for real. Although some of the events that played in the end did not sit well with me or my conscience, does not mean this book does not deserve 5 ⭐️ and then some. Ms. King did not come here to play with any a y’all!!! PERIODT!!
This is a must read. This book had it all; murder, lies, deceit, betrayal, lust, love and vengeance. The twists and turns were undetectable which made the read even better. Great read and the queens were more than savage.... They were brilliant at their crafts!
