Learn the basics of French pronunciation and grammar, as well as a wide range of conversational topics to add to your vocabulary. Each chapter builds on the previous one to help repeat previously learned topics and develop a better grasp on the language.
Just like hobby or study you take on, the key is regular practice. Aim to spend at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, practicing your French. Before you know it, you'll be a confident French speaker!
3/5 stars Decent content and pretty well written. Definitely a very beginner book as it doesn’t go very deep, i.e. few verbs, pronouns, numbers, adjectives, how to create negation & questions. That’s basically it.
I listened to the audiobook version. It was okay, not amazing though. It was free through Spotify Premium, so I thought I’d give it a listen. The narrator was a tad monotone, it was not the highest quality/clearest audio and also had a few strange (mis)prononciations?
The ending prompts to further your learning were good, if you feel like doing “homework”. 😅
Overall: With it being so short, it’s a good refresher or if you’re brand new to French. It gives you enough to whet your appetite, but of course, not the only resource you should use in your pursuit of learning the language.
