Barbarika: The Beginning
Aarav, the only son of Sinhas, discovers that he is carrying the soul of the greatest warrior ever lived during the Earth's middle age. From there, he embarks on a journey that unravels the enigmas behind his rebirth in Kali Yuga and his special role in deciding humanity's fate.

Book name : Barbarika - The Beginning.
Author name : Abhijeet Kumar Jha.
Many of us have watched or read the epic Mahabharata, but !! How many of do we know the character of Barbarika ??
And his significance in the whole change of events of Mahabharata ??
Many only some of us.
So to know who he was ! And how come he be one of the most important yet unknown character of the epic.
Do grab this book named "BARBARIKA - THE BEGINNING".
The protagonist that we have in this book is a guy named, Aarav. He is a software developer in a multinational company. Basically belongs from Khajjiar, a very beautiful place. He is prone to getting mysterious dreams from very young age, yet he could never find why they appeared to him, the same events, repeatedly. Until the day he goes back to his pavillion to meet his parents after a gap of three years.
That's when on the ver first night he goes out of his house, in a strong storm, and his journey of discovery begins.
The book goes off in different time slots, working in parallel span. The way the book is written is tremendous, and his power of imagination is applauding. The way each event is perfectly narrated, and nothing is overly dragged is just too perfect to read.
Through this book we see a very different angle of epic, Mahabharata.
Even though it's a pretty long read, yet it's interesting. I loved reading this mysterious, historical fiction. It's full of knowledge as well. It depicts the story and the story is also written in conversation form.
Overall, it's fantastic.
I highly recommend others to read it.

The life of Aarav, an extremely talented software engineer, changes when he realises that he is the incarnation of one of the greatest warriors of Indian mythology, Barbarika, and the purpose of his life is to restore balance to the Kali Yuga.

The theme of the book was promising but the plot was far fetched or rather illogical even for a mythological fantasy. The main protagonist, Aarav, being depicted as too naive in the beginning with no idea about the evils of the world such as murders, rapes, etc., despite having intelligence beyond average humans, living in a major city where he worked in an MNC, defied logic. However, the antagonist, Arjun, was well developed with a brief but decent back story.
There were a lot of grammatical mistakes and poor choice of words, special unnecessary use of fancy synonyms, which led to difficulty in comprehending the sentences and thus affecting the reading pace as well as interest. Though the narration was average and enough to pull the reader through.

Some days ago, I came across the profiles of some Book Publishers. This helped me introduced to Abhijeet Jha . He was working on this book at that time. I got to know about the subject of his book which is - THE BARBARIKA.
I knew this character of "Shreemad Bhagwat Gita" as I've read it. I was so excited to read it. I asked Abhijeet for the same. He gave me 2 chapters of his book to read , even though the book wasn't published yet and the chapters weren't public. I read those chapters the same day and gave him the feedback.
Today I've completed the reading of such fiction that took me into another world. The way Abhijeet has curated this book made me took there. Every time I read it , I felt being a part of it, like I'm watching everything with my own eyes.

Barbarika!!!!
This story is extremely powerful in all senses.
I loved this book and enjoyed reading it to the fullest.
This book was gifted by someone to me and I assure you it is worth reading.
It is now one of my favorite books.
It is a perfectly blended experience of all emotions. Every chapter is wonderful to be a part of and every character is worth knowing.
