I absolutely love c.l stone and all her works. I am so glad that I got to read this especially since I have been waiting so long for ANYTHING TO COME OUT. I just really want to know when Unsung Requim will come out because I have no patience whatsoever. Its sweet that she bundled up all the questions from her fans and answered them all in one place. I understand that she has been getting a lot of hate for her novels and this shows that SHE ISNT BACKING DOWN.WOOHOOOO! Heloo athor of the ghostbird series if you are reading this I love you and I love Sang even more. Please please hurry up with the next book so i can rest in peace.

a LOT of information is repeated multiple times. several people have asked the same questions, and the author chose to answer them all with slightly different worded answers. i would've preferred that duplicate questions were deleted because, again, there were super many of them.

many questions are from people who've misread, misunderstood, or forgotten something that was explicitly written in the books.

i also feel like typos and grammatical errors in the reader questions should've been corrected before publishing.

so basically it just seems a little bit messy – but it's fine since this isn't a canonical ghost bird book, it's just something for the fans!

personally i'd advise not to read this book if you're like me and like to connect the dots yourself and draw your own conclusions about the emotions, thoughts, and motivations of characters in specific scenes.
something i love about this series is that we DON'T get a lot of explicitly stated information about the boys' feelings at specific points in the books, so we get to fill in the holes ourselves.
i found myself disagreeing with the author several times in this book because i'd simply interpreted stuff differently than she had intended. so please be aware of this before reading.

it's nice to hear that the author has plans for the series and a follow-up series!
and im very excited about finally getting another ghost bird book this summer.

As someone who loves the Ghost Bird Series, I have always looked forward to the cheat sheets. I’ve always loved the “behind the scenes” for these books, so when C. L. Stone said she would be putting the cheat sheets into a bound up book it made me very excited!

I really took my time reading through these because I know I’ve read the majority of these before. I wanted to take my time with it and not blow through all the details. I think this was perfect for those who are big fans of these series.

I don’t think there’s much to say about this because it is essentially questions the author answered about these books. If you have read up to Love’s Cruel Redemption and Tempest I don’t think you’ll be spoiled for anything that was in the books. But you do learn some new information that isn’t seen in the pages.

All the Sang and Boys insight was so much fun! I will say I think this added to my Volto theories but I still bounce around from character to character. Back to the boys though, I liked that C. L. Stone sectioned the questions up by guy (aka Introductions order). There was also some mention of their histories and they met/ Kota being family lead over North. It’s not like it was straight answer but I still enjoyed going back through the stories without reading the books in a way. I thought this was an organized collection of almost a long interview? I do like that she had her ‘old’ and ‘new’ answers for most of the questions.

All this being said there were some problems I had with this ‘book’. I feel odd calling this a book cause it’s more a bundle of cheat sheets in my mind.

Anyways there was a lot of question repeats which was fine since I took so long to read it, but it did get repetitive. There were quite a lot of typos which usually doesn’t bother me to much but they were there.

There were some questions that had me thinking “wait that was in the book, how was it confusing?” I understand that you can misread the books but there were a few questions that were obvious answers. I do have to say I’ve read this series so many times that I made sense to me, but some of these questions were a little to obvious in ways.

I do wish there were more questions on the newest books and not so much the earlier books. That doesn’t mean I don’t love the earlier books (Friends vs Family is still one of my favorites). This is only because I’ve read the cheat sheets already.

If you like the books and want a little more while we wait for the next installment sure give this a read, and get a very very brief overview of the series. Although if you like putting things together and don’t like outside knowledge probably don’t pick this up.

Even with these problems I still enjoyed this ‘walk down memory lane’ given it’s been a little while since I’ve read the whole series front to back. I always do a whole series reread once I see the next book is in the pre-order stage. But on a random note the cover of this is so aesthetically pleasing to look at? No? Just me that’s alright:)

Anyone have a guess at Volto? Mine are Wil, Doyle/Blake, Kota’s mom (but maybe not so much anymore the end of LCR really threw me off), and outside of that I’m not sure. I have a hard time believing Wil or Kota’s mom would drive Nathan off the road and all. But who really know?

Didn’t think I’d have that much to say about this, but I guess I did:) Thanks for reading this long-winded review!

80% of this was questions being repeated and stuff that was obviously asked years ago and already answered in the books.
