Zoey Matthews has seen far too many dead people… There’s something strange going on in Bridgeport, Virginia. People keep dropping like flies. Zoey Matthews, a town native and professional musician, never signed up to be the local ghost whisperer. Unfortunately, the dead seem to think she’s their go-to person for solving murders. The most recent spirit to turn up in Zoey’s loft may be her deceased husband. At least that’s what someone wants her to believe. Things are getting personal… When a young woman is snatched from her home, and a cemetery is robbed, Zoey knows dark forces are at work. In a race against the clock, Zoey and her friends rush to find out if the culprit behind the disappearances is her dead ex or a force far more sinister. Will Zoey be able to solve this supernatural mystery before it’s too late? Will she be able to lay the dead to rest? For good, this time…

Zoey Matthew, the Undead Ex, and the Missing Ghost was another entertaining urban fantasy from author Heather Elizabeth King. I love Zoey as a character, she's beautiful, talented, artistic, and such an angel. If you're a fan of strong female leads than Zoey is character worth following.
In this compulsively readable installment Zoey has to contend with the murder of one of a local girl, her husbands return from the dead, evil casters, her mothers marriage, her missing roommate, and the local unnaturals. Zoey has her hands full in this volume of Kings so far trilogy series. This book has an ever growing and interesting cast of characters, heaps of action, more romance, and another mystery to solve.
This book really has everything for fans of Urban Fantasy. Zoey Matthews, The Undead Ex, and they Missing Ghost is not to be missed. This fast paced thrill ride was the perfect addition to an already exciting series.
Enjoying the series. We discover more about the talents and abilities of Ren and Zoey. We also see their relationship get stronger as the develop and reveal more to each other - and if course tangle with other unnaturals and discover more about the unnatural world. The family and friends also appear in this book but not quite as much as the previous two. Really good series - good mystery with a romantic bonus. Looking forward to more in this series.
This is the third book in what is so far a trilogy. I loved all three books and I sincerely hope that this book is actually the third in a series. Ms. King's writing is captivating. Her character development, story telling and fantastic grasp of the utilization of suspense is spot on!
Keep up the great work, Ms. King! I look forward to reading more of your books!
