This is a great Sudoku technique book. It progresses from the most basic solving strategies to the most advanced. Each technique is accompanied by a puzzle to demonstrate what you have just read and allows you to look for (and use) each new strategy. This was a huge help for me and what put it ahead of the Mensa Solving Sudoku book.

This is not a puzzle book. There are puzzles, but just enough to demonstrate solving strategies. If you are looking for Sudoku puzzles I recommend Frank Longo's Absolutely Nasty Sudoku series.
