These recipes appear to be copied from several sources (including a Zojirushi source as mentioned in numerous recipes). Format varies from recipe to recipe, sometimes missing the actual measurement of the required ingredient. "General Index" at end of book is an un-linked repeat of chapters in table of contents at front (which IS linked), but there is no list of every recipe included; no way to browse by recipe title or ingredient. Clearly this book was thrown together with little effort.
[If I understand copywright correctly (and I'm NOT an expert), it IS legal to copy lists (such as lists of ingredients for recipes), but it is NOT legal to copy the text of the instructions (which this book appears to do with impunity).]
As for the quality of recipes, it varies, depending on the source from whence they were taken. Of course, it's difficult to make the ones which don't include all the measurements.
I have read several Bread Machine cookbooks and this is my favorite so far. Where do I start? I love how it broke down the ingredients you’d possibly use and explained its purpose, order you’d want to add it, and any important details necessary to have your bread come out good such as many of the ingredients needing to be at room temperature. It contained some pictures for those visuals learners and has conversion charts in the back (including a gluten-free converter chart!). The recipes are easy to follow and understand and numerous options to choose from!
I love fresh bread so I bought a bread machine. I have been on the look out for different recipes. This book was just what I was looking for. The book opens by explaining how to use the bread machine and prepare dough. Then it moves into recipes. I liked the diversity here. There is you common sandwich breads, butbthere is also i teresting breads like dill or dessert breads. Overall, I now have a large aresenal of recipes to use.
