This is a heartwarming, topical story about Christmas in the city, where the meaning of friendship shines through. I am so excited to add this to my family’s list of holiday reads each year. Its classic rhyming is great for young children, and fun for adults who are familiar with the true story of the owl in the Rockefeller Center tree! Doogie and Rocky make a great, adventurous pair. The warm illustrations are fun to look at in detail as we read each page, too. Love this!
