This book is made for younger children. Ideal for 2-5-year-olds . Lots of bright illustrations with kids of all races. In a world where the message of kindness is constantly taught to children, we believe it is beneficial to teach them from a very young age that kindness is important BUT justice goes hand in hand with kindness. Something that is too often overlooked. We all have a responsibility to stand up and speak up when we see someone being bullied or mistreated. This book aims to introduce little ones to the idea that we all are all different and unique, we all deserve love, respect, and equality. Easy to understand, Bright & engaging illustrations.

This book teaches young children that everyone is unique in their own way and that everyone should be accepted. This book talks about a child being bullied for being in a wheel chair and how someone stood up for them. Children need to see that it is not okay to be bullied for how they are. They did not ask to be in a wheelchair, that is just how they are. The illustrations in the book are vibrate, which makes the book more appealing to young readers. The illustrations also show diversity by using children of all skin tones. It shows that we are all one and need to support one another no matter what.

I loved this book. It was so sweet and it talks about children with disabilities and comes together at the end by reminding the reader that everyone is different. I would read this to my students to help them understand that its ok to be different and that differences make us who we are. I loved the story!

I think that this book is beautiful because it shows students that it's okay to be different! It should be every educator's goal to create an inclusive environment for their students and embrace those differences because our differences are what truly make us so special!
