My husband has type 2 diabetes, so I need to prepare meals in accordance with his lifestyle. One of the things I liked about this book is that it gave target numbers of what sugar totals should be for the day. Not a lot of books do that, and not everyone has access to a dietician to help there. This book then provides recipes in accordance with diabetes management. Just be aware of portion sizes. As some of these recipes use ingredients that are not totally diabetic friendly in large amounts. But, we are aware and make sure to follow the portion sizing. Overall, interesting recipes.
