Does have color photos
I almost didn't buy this because of the reviews saying the photos were all black and white. I checked out the sample and saw that they were actually in full cover. This turned out to be true throughout the book.
A legitimate critique is that not all of the projects are quilling. There was also a section of qulling examples at the end of the book that were illustrated but without step by step directions.
I think this book would be a good start for a beginner. The patterns at the beginning were all simple and doable.

Cool book
Cool book with great ideas. I think I'll try some of them. I like the 3 kings the most even though it's NOT paper quilling.
