I tried teaching myself Algebra using the Algebra for Dummies books and workbook, but I was moving at a snail’s pace, so I took community college courses and they used this textbook, which is free in pdf format, for both Algebra 1 and 2. It has very clear explanations about 80% of the time and has seemingly limitless practice problems. When the book explanation didn’t work for me, I watched YouTube videos. Compared to the Algebra For Dummies books, this was incredibly comprehensive. Now when my kid is taking Algebra, I will be able to help her with her homework!
