I picked this on up on audible to see what tips it could have for people like me, that don't really enjoy been in groups that much.

I find it very enlightening actually, and did took my pointers for future references, it's a very light book actually and it very practical I love that.

If you struggle with not being comfortable in a group or at social events and want some pointers on how to recharge later on this it's the book you need.

If you are looking for practical and actionable lessons to improve your networking skills, Networking for Introverts is the book for you! I am an extrovert, and I learned a lot from this book too. It really helped me appreciate introverts more. Daisy Myers, the author, talks quite a bit about the advantages of being an introvert. My husband is an introvert, and I wish that I had read this book years ago. I have a renewed appreciation for him now.

Calling all bosses! If you have an introvert on your team, not only should you recommend this book to them, but you should read it too. It will open your eyes to the strengths that introverts possess. I dare say that you will get several ideas to use their talents in the workplace.

One of my favorite sections of this book gives readers a list of mantras to boost self-confidence. Any recent high school or college graduate will benefit from using these. Networking isn't a skill that most people are born with. We all have to learn it to be successful in the career world.

The narrator, Sarah Knapp, does a fantastic job. She uses all of the voice actor "tricks of the trade" to keep your interest. I did notice four small production errors (repeated phrases). I can honestly say that they did not detract from the book at all.

If you want to take your networking game to the next level, I highly recommend this book. This is a book you will want to have in your library and refer to in the future. To get the most out of the book, I would recommend that you purchase the eBook along with the audiobook. That way, you can take notes in the eBook as you read.

Because there is so much actionable information in this book, I would also recommend that you listen for 30 minutes each day and take the time to digest each day's material fully. Pick one thing to practice each day. By the time you finish the book, you will have a new tool kit of ideas to improve your networking skills.

This book is not just for Introverts. I'm an ENTJ and found plenty of useful nuggets. I read this to learn a little about the introvert perspective so I can be a better leader to my team. I think this book adds value to your life especially if you are interested in networking. Tim Sanders stated, “Your network is your net worth.” The TTPs found in this book will guide you on your networking path. The narrator did a great job.

Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to or will listen to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again. If you like this review please consider giving it a Helpful Vote below.

I requested this book from the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
