Very useful book as starting point to understand what is the semantic web.

This book explains the evolution of the web since its inception. I found the chapter where the web 2.0 is explained very useful, it could be a complex topic hard to explain for a non expert audience but surprisingly its written very clear.

Other interesting topic is how the future web will allow interconnect different services between them, not only people.

Its very easy to read, I enjoyed it a lot, its like a TEDx talk.
