Travel planning in a scrapbook style thanks to my prescient self who loves pre-trip planning as much as I do taking the actual adventure! Both experiences are equally as impressive in my book! Take a peak and see what it took for me to travel all over Europe as a solo female in her 30s-leaving her son for the first time in his four year lifespan to do so. I was on a very tightwad budget with the mission of:
*Exploring the Netherlands and Amsterdam in April during the King's Day festival and parades
*Sniffing the Keukenhof Gardens in bloom and watching the tulip parade in Noordwijk
*Staying solo in hostels--not just any hostels by the infamous Flying Pig hostels at the Beach in Noordwijk and in Amsterdam
*Wearing stylish outfits as a woman in her early 30s--scarves galore~!!
*Hitting up the hottest tourist spots from the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank Haus, to scoring tickets to several concerts
All of which I attended solo! Some amazing stories ahead...but first here in the first book of this series is the plans in the works! Find out:
*How much money I saved and spent on museum passes, concert tickets, and hostel rooms--before I even left the States!
*How I chose the perfect time of the year to travel to Amsterdam for my first time in the Netherlands
*How I saved money as a single mom working as a freelance writer in South Dakota--RURAL South Dakota
*My process in narrowing down and researching each dream destination--and how I decided on the Netherlands for a complete two-week stay
*My actual outfits--also with BONUS material to be included for each order--in hand drawing as I show you how to travel abroad in a single suitcase on your shoulders and without sacrificing style and in the windy Spring Season! Yes, it's a great time to travel but jeez it gets chilly!
&&& much much more~ Each page is an illustrated graphic work of art that takes you on a visual journey--feast of the eyes if you will!
xoxo Yolo Velvet Eirisse Yearwood
