[From back cover:] A critical look at the strange synchronicities in our world that point to us existing inside of what I like to call The Saturn Time Cube Simulation.
Someone needed to write it! I'd call this a pocket manual for the recently deprogrammed; easy to read (code for written without pretense or pomp) and easy to digest for someone who is interested in thinking about the ties between many (many) oft-overlooked aspects of our world. The beautiful part about this very "fringe" (by popular standards) book and its whirlwind of eclectic, galactic content is that it circles back to land on the shoulder of the Everyman and sing a song of hope into his ear.
4 stars for brusque writing, 5 stars for the content [I wish there were more!] and the conclusions and moral.
Many interesting concepts and coincidences are introduced. Clearly the book is a labor of love. However, the author falls back on the crutches of “Some say” and “Many believe” in order to make points without any citation. In addition, numerous spelling/grammatical errors (rogue differs from rouge) are present throughout the book.
Nonetheless, an interesting read and a neat set of perspectives to glean from the book.
This book is certainly a head twister. I didn't entirely agree with everything he said (the moon stuff mostly), but I do enjoyed how the book put me into a deep thinking mode. Probably for the first time in a decade, I found myself underlining and making notes on the page margins.
I also found this book really helpful to understanding Tartary and The Golden Age. I had been paying attention to Mud Flood related pictures and information for a while, but I wasn't grasping the origins.
Slightly annoying was all the mentions of videos, and how they're portraying more reality than a lot of us realize. My problem is that I don't watch teLIEvision, programming, movies, or shows. So several times I was feeling a little foggy as to what he was describing in a movie.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to rereading this book after I finish Mr. Hinton's next book, The Aquarian Singularity.
Probably closer to 3.7. Fascinating information, but very short & at some points, not well written. Personally, I just dislike when authors say they will return to this idea or let me explain instead of just doing so to begin with... all technicalities however. The synchronicities & coincidences highlighted are fascinating and should seriously be looked into further. Good entry point into understanding the complexity of the universe and our purpose within.
