Computer Networking for Beginners is three books compiled in one by Kevin Morgan. First book in the series is about networking and the types of hardware devices that are used. Basic concepts and terminology are explained that are easy to understand. The second book is all about precautionary actions and solutions. Examples of these are downloading apps and software to surfing on the web to password creations and protections. The third book is about hacking. Yes, the author notes a difference between hacking and cracking. The process of hacking is explained for beginners and a great way to see if a computer is safe and sound or if improvements are needed. Morgan explains Kali Linux which is a distribution based on Debian. Mainly used for penetration tests. It is a great tool to utilize for monitoring and securing. Overall, this is a great for beginners just learning or anyone who is looking for more information. Definitely recommend picking up a copy.

Excellent Resource
You can't go wrong with this book If you want to know God computer networking works. All the terms you need to know, and all of the concepts a computer networker uses sit right here in this bundle's first book.
As you move on to cybersecurity, however, the books become more practical for most users. I can't think of a better way to protect yourself from hackers and crackers than to follow the advice the second book gives.
I started getting scared...yes, scared, when I read the last two books on hacking and cracking. It's disturbing to think if how vulnerable we all are to cyberattacks. On the other hand, knowing just a little about how hackers and crackers do their dirty work gives me extra motivation to guard myself against them.
Knowledge is power. And, as far as cybersecurity goes, we all need as much of that power to protect ourselves from becoming victims of cybercrime.
I recommend this book to everybody I can because we are all vulnerable.

Interesting Bundle
This bundle was interesting to read. In the first book, “Computer Networking,” the author explains the difference between the wireless network topologies and how to best use them. The book also explains the pros and cons of each system. It gives examples of network protocols and how best to use them.
In the second book, “Security and Hacking,” the author gives details about how to secure your system from being hacked. It also explains the easiest ways hackers can get your private information.

Technology has made us vulnerable
I can remember being invited to participate in a local program years ago to learn about a new thing called the internet. While each year we can do more and more things with the help of wireless networks, we are also more vulnerable. This series of books does a great job of pointing out vulnerabilities and explaining how they happen. How to avoid common vulnerabilities.

Interesting read
I learned a lot from this well written yet easy to understand book. It should be called networking for dummies because it was very easy to read and understand all those terms. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about networking or just wants to sound like they could.

In a world of technology all around us, it is important to have at least a basic understanding of what it is, how it’s used, and how to protect your equipment when using it. I found this book to be an excellent resource to better understand the internet. I definitely see this being a resource I continue to go back to!

Great way to learn
I learned so much about computer networking and all the components that go with it. It waa useful to see how it all worked and how my computer would deal with it. Could use some illustrations to help me better understand but it definitely helped me

Good series for learning computer networking
This book is pretty technical but I feel prepared to take the early level tests for computer networking after reading through these 3 books in 1. I know I'll definitely refer back to them as well.

So-called "comprehensive" collection sits in a frustrating no-man's-land of being too simplistic for anyone with even basic tech knowledge, but too poorly explained for actual beginners. The networking concepts are dumbed down to the point of uselessness - we get it, the internet is like "highways" for data. The security section is basically "use a password" level advice. And don't get me started on the "hacking" book which is just recycled common knowledge you could get from any five-minute YouTube video. Can't recommend it to beginners because they'd be confused by the terrible explanations, and can't use it myself because there's nothing of substance here. Save your money and just read some online tutorials instead.
