Absolutely worthless book (and identical to another I started on Kindle Unlimited). Do not waste any time on this - it assumes you already know most of what it covers on Agile and is a rambling mess. It consistently uses terms before it defines them (if it ever gets around to it). Worst tech book I've ever read any meaningful part of ever (other than its identical twin).

STORY POINTS & VELOCITY

Alot of basic and general Agile Project Management terms used, although I'm coming from the perspective of a MSc in Project Management and 20+ years experience.

I was disappointed that Story Points and Velocity were only briefly covered, since this can be foundational to determining the number of Sprints required.

The Book is entitled 'Agile Scrum Crash Course' so may be useful to some individuals but as a senior project manager, I found it light on core concepts. Too much narrative on descriptive elements and not enough or sufficient practical applications, is my conclusion.

Not sure who edited the book but apart from minor language hiccups this book was immediately useful in my PMP study prep. I especially appreciated the larger than normal font in the paperback edition and the break down of information. After reading the book I had immediate clarity on the agile process to help in my PMP prep. I’ve also used the book as a refererence in my day job. Very useful. Great purchase and a solid read. Just remember to “chew up the meat, spit out the bones.”

Easy to understand

This book was very easy to understand and explained things in simple terms. If I'd read this before taking the test, I probably would have passed in the first attempt.

I found this book much ore accessible than the other book that I've read about Agile.
Although there were errors in the book, I found it easy to read and helpful.
