THE SECTIONAL ANATOMY LEARNING SYSTEM is thoroughly revised and updated with two new chapters including re-drawn illustrations, and new post-tests with images. The system consists of two volumes: a main text and a workbook of applications. A new chapter has been added on the vertebral column and spinal cord. The concepts section of the text now covers sectional anatomy of the entire body. It is organized to correspond to the text chapters. Applications consist of coloring and labeling exercises for over 250 revised drawings of transverse, sagittal, and coronal cadaver sections.
Okay, I know anatomy books aren't supposed to be exciting but this has got to be the dullest anatomy book around. It felt incomplete. I never turned to this for a resource as it .... sucks. I had to purchase another book to help me in my studies because this text was so inadequate. A much better book to get is Sonography by Reva Curry. Save your money if you're required to purchase The Sectional Anatomy Learning System for school and just borrow it from the library. You'll kick yourself for wasting so much money on garbage.
