Book One: Deluxe Edition was a monster sized 'Oz'... Book Two?
It's 'Orange Is The New Black' with a liberal interspersing of the Cthulu mythos.
It largely follows two SEVERELY traumatized Ultraman-esque humans, Dr. Zhang and Jeong. They were put through the wringer during the last two seasons and their stories continue here in the female Kaiju prison. Several characters carry over from the events in the first 12 issues. There's never a quiet day in Kaijumax, my Lizza.
In this deluxe edition we've also got more kaiju movie history, creator notes and a bunch of cover art.
Bonus: '...and I'll form the head!' Has to be the weirdest Voltron homage I've seen Bonus Bonus: Dino-EMT's? Almost better than the true Dinobots
