I had such a nostalgic blast with this book. It felt like stepping into a time machine and rediscovering the joy of building games the old-school way—right in the browser. I loved how approachable it was, even when diving into things like collision detection and object management. The examples were simple but powerful, and I found myself grinning as I got sprites bouncing around the screen with just a few lines of JavaScript. It reminded me why I fell in love with coding in the first place. If you’ve ever wanted to make your own pixel-perfect arcade-style game, this book makes it feel totally doable—and fun
