The Codes of the Exiled Rogue will shatter every belief you hold real and true!
The Codes of The Exiled Rogue is the first in The Exiled Rogue series. The sage begins in the year 2039 with Tristan, Aurora, and Sid accepting an invitation from an unknown person.
The events that follow slowly build up the world that we get to explore throughout the next two books. This book questions our unchallenged beliefs through a mysterious figure, in the form of The Host, who comes from a different planet.
The first book does start the journey strong, and having read the last I can say, the story comes full circle. The language is beginner friendly and is not too strong on jargons, which is generally a case with many science fiction novels that automatically makes them a bit difficult for first time readers.
There are clues or codes hidden here and there in the passages, which are revealed in good time and make for an entertaining read on this journey of interconnecting human evolution as we know it and a new reality that we never knew about.
It is the year 2039, where people no more do handshakes for its unhygienic and also no longer pens down a note. It not weird that handshakes are no longer used for formal greetings because at the present time too we've been avoiding doing handshakes. But can you imagine a time where pen and papers are long forgotten.
Tristan, Aurora and Sid receives a mysterious handwritten note which invites them to attend a secret meeting. Three of them were surprised to learn that they are members of a group name Treasure Trash where people meet and indulge in discussions of different topics. They were bored by their daily monotonous lives and seeked for their purpose in life which will gives meaning to their lives. They believed they were meant to serve a greater purpose for the planet.
I was really intrigued by the way the book starts. The starting manages to grasp the reader's attention to the story but as the story progressed, I was bored at times. The story basically takes place under one roof with flashbacks running in parallel. The discussions and descriptions although were necessary to know the ground story still it were quite monotonous and lacked emotions which made it quite boring. Since, it's the first book in the trilogy, I hope the other two will much more enjoyable than this book. Considering it is the author's debut book, he had done a commendable work on the plot.
light is born of the dark dark gives meaning to the light 🦄🦄🦄 In 2039 Tristan, Aurora and Sid are invited to attend a secret meeting with an unknown person. And they accept. They will be faced with realities that they can choose to accept, absorb and be a part of something greater. Are they being tricked into abandoning their beliefs or are they finally accepting something that they knew was true all along? 🦄🦄🦄 The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani is a sci-fi novel that tells a story that is bigger than anyone can comprehend. It's an engaging book that is fictional but it makes you wonder. This book could be a conspiracy theorist's dream come true as it talks about believing in things that people deem as myths and rumours. In that sense I really enjoyed the book. But! With all the suspenseful build up in the story, I was expecting something, anything to give it that extra wow factor. Yes there is a twist or two, but with how the story moves toward it was very predictable. I was disappointed that it didn't have that defining moment that would make me remember it as a great sci-fi book. There is no doubt in my mind that it is a definite page turner, but it also made me wonder why it did not have a better ending. 🦄🦄🦄 Rated 85/100 Melina L.
"The Codes of the Exiled Rouge" by Sandeep Adnani is a science fiction set in 2039. I loved the beginning of the story which was intriguing. The pace was fast and constant throughout the book. I was excited when I saw that the story took place in Hong Kong but there were not more than two places in Hong Kong was mentioned. The story takes place 18 years in future but it doesn't seems like that. People using watches instead of mobile phones was not enough resemblance that the story has been set in future. In short, time and place mentioned in the book has no reason and has nothing to do with the plot.
The plot was different and not bad as a whole. I love the author's way of imagination about the history. Two timelines, one in past and one in present made the story interesting. The cover of the book could have been better. I am not satisfied with the climax. Overall it's not a bad read.
Truly an unputdownable book! Books are written, they have messages, some quotes go viral and to some it makes sense, to some it doesn't. The Codes of the Exiled Rogue has every letter that must go viral and settle into the society as a norm, it is a true blue eye opener of what we are and what we are capable of! By the end of it, I'm willing to believe that this actually must have happened.. Such a well written book with such a creative story telling, it's hard to believe this is the author's first book. He knows his stuff and he know how to engage his readers.
Loved it! Loved the setting, the characters and especially the dialogue. It's been a while since I have found a book so engaging that I've spent the entire day lost in it! The book is sometimes disturbing and often thought-provoking. A must read! Eagerly anticipating the sequel...
The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani is a nicely woven and engaging science fiction novel that combines the philosophical thinking such as why are we here with an element of not being alone in the universe.
Three individuals, Tristan, Aurora and Sid, each belong to a separate chapter of a meeting group known as Treasure and Trash. Unbeknownst to each other a handwritten invitation, unusual for the year 2039, is given to each of the three individuals. The cryptic message reads, "What you seek is seeking you." Following this phrase a meeting place destination is shared with the invitation to be there on the following day at sunset. It is mysteriously signed XI.
Thus begins a journey for three invitees who through a series of riddles and adventures begin to unravel their own quest for personal answers and by doing so find themselves way beyond the boundaries of their own personal existence.
Additionally, they find themselves being escorted on this journey by a mysterious figure known only as The Host.
Indeed, the reality of what they are seeking was in actuality seeking them and ultimately in receiving the codes of the exiled rogue.
The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani is an extremely engaging novel that most liikely take the reader on a journey from where they are and possibly unanswered questions to areas outside of their own world and limitless possibilities.
The book is well written both in development of the story and reading ease and is sure to maintain and peak the interest of the reader in their journey with the three chosen ones.
The author has built on an unusual and interesting premise that is sure to entertain the reader and reveal a surprising ending that leads to The Beginning.
How would you feel if all that you know about human evolution turns out a made-up tale with the truth hidden from us all along? Sounds shocking IRL but a thrilling novel, right?
“The Codes of The Exiled Rogue” by Sandeep Adnani is the first metaphysical sci-fi novel in “The Exiled Rogue Series”. Set in 2039 Hong Kong, the story is about 3 strangers - Tristan, Sid, and Aurora – who meet under unusual circumstances due to a strange note each of them received. They're surprised to learn that they're members of the same support group Treasure&Trash (different branches), where people meet & indulge in deep discussions on every topic under the sun. Is there more to the support group than meets the eye? Who invited them here & what’s this secret meeting about?
A large portion of the story takes place under one roof with a flashback story that runs parallel. The plot starts well with a secret meeting place where more key characters get involved in the story. Halfway into the book, my excitement peaked. I thought it is mythological fiction to the likes of Ashwin Sanghi and Christopher C Doyle. But, the latter part of the story takes a completely different route.
I found the flashback story exciting and would like to know more about it. Also, it'd be interesting to see how the meeting affects Tristan and his girlfriend Maya's beautiful relationship.
Surprisingly, I finished the novel in 3 sittings even though the writing style didn’t impress me. There're lengthy philosophical dialogues that, at times, appear to take the story in too many directions.
Did I enjoy the big secret of the meeting? I’m not entirely pleased with it yet excited for what lies ahead in the series!
Tristan,Sid & Aurora, all unknown to each other receive a cryptic message for a meet at a park. All three of them are the members of a group Treasure & Trash, which is a group of likeminded people & whose members are anonymous. The three didn’t know that the call was basicallly an invitation for their next group session. As they all meet,Matthew,an eminent member of the group takes them to another place from where their individual lives changes completely.
The story is set in an island in Hong Kong, oscillating between two timelines-1996 & 2039 (mostly 2039),with few common characters in both the timeline, making the story arcane & thrilling at the same time. The book is a sci-fi philosophical thriller & basically part one of the trilogy series “The Exiled Rogue”.
The book describes the philosophical aspects of life in the form of a fictional story with few elements of surprise. The author knows a great deal about philosophy I believe,& has put forward his thoughts in the form of a beautiful story which made philosophy quite interesting.I feel this is the best thing an author could have done.
The book covertly gives us an idea about different approach towards life.I really liked the author’s pensive writing & while reading it,I had reminiscence of “The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown as few instances of this book share the similar aura with that of Brown’s book & that is what intrigued me on reading this book further.
As a debut book, the author has done a commendable job.The book is alight pleasurable read & totally thought-provoking.
The Codes of Exiled Rogue is a partly dystopian book, set in the year of 2039. The first part of this trilogy follows the story of Tristan, Sid and Aurora as the main lead. All three of them had rather been disappointed with their smooth running lives and firmly believed that they were meant to serve a greater purpose to the planet.
When each of them are chosen from their covert groups of people sharing their ideologies, everything in their life seems to unravel humanity’s biggest secrets.
The best part of the book to me was the way the story was unfolded. The intrigue of the ‘Exiled Rogue’ kept me going forward. Different perspective, battles of beliefs and ‘the truth’ of the ancient history was brilliantly done. The beginning of the covert group ‘Treasure&Trash’ was told side by side, switching the timelines between decades. This kept things refreshing and I was intrigued as I progressed further in the story.
Although, there were quite a few things that made me disappointed. The discussions, albeit necessary, covering two-thirds of the story, was quite boring. Aside from the trips each of the three narrated, not much of the talk held my attention. The descriptions and narration was framed mechanically and held less of emotions. Everything was ‘told’ to the reader rather than being ‘shown’ putting me off constantly. The dialogues were framed awkwardly as a lot of the sentences felt weird to be used in conversation.
The Year is 2039, Characters- The Host, Tristan, Aurora, Sid, Matthew. A clandestine meeting happens between these people. Now to know why, how for what purpose this secret meeting takes place you need to read the book. The best dialogue that I loved- ‘Light is born of the dark, Dark gives meaning to the light’.
The Codes of Exiled Rogue is a fictional book written by Sandeep Adnani about the purpose of life and how everything is correlated with humanity. This book is the first installment of “The Exiled Rogue Trilogy” #1 best seller on Amazon.
It was a mind-blowing experience for me to read this book. I feel amazed by thinking how the author has gone so deep into the story and wrote three books, each one with a different twist and turns contributing towards the main objective of the story.
Initially, while reading this book I felt slightly off in some places but when you are reading a Sci-fi novel it’s natural where you need to connect your imagination with the words. Now I am excited for the next part of the series.
Overall, I feel you should read this book (The Exiled Rogue Series) and experience a different world of thoughts and of course learn meaningful life lessons.
Oh my! I’ll tell you right now I’m throwing in an extra star as a hedge against cultural bias on my part. I see the other 4 and 5 star reviews, so I guess I’m going to be “that” guy. The characters were shallow and 2 dimensional, and the interactions and dialogue between them was stiff and unconvincing. I mention potential cultural bias on my part because reading this book felt like watching a foreign film. There was virtually no action. Almost all of the book is people sitting around talking. The things they say are ludicrous. This is the kind of dialogue you’d expect from a bunch of conspiracy theorists, sitting around smoking a ton of weed. They think they have a profound “truth,” the rest of the world can’t see, a unique wisdom. That level of arrogance can only have a foundation of extreme ignorance, making me like these brainless characters even less. Then we hope back and forth in time and location. I found it unnecessary and distracting. I’ve seen other books do this and still leave the reader a linear revelation. This one didn’t succeed. Based on the other reviews, there must be a segment of readers who will enjoy this story. I just can’t find the pattern.
After reading the title of the book, I got the impression that it would be an intriguing and interesting book and it really was! “The Codes of the Exiled Rogue” was written by Sandeep Adnani. He started writing at an early age, he wrote articles, short stories, dissertations, among others. Finally, he decided to publish his first book, this one.
This story is set in the future, in the year 2039 where relationships and some customs are different. It is the moment when Tristan, one of the main characters, decides to join in a special meeting to talk about his discomfort and doubts about his personal Life. One day he receives a mysterious hand-written note which makes him embark on a private and risky venture together with Sid and Aurora. It was certainly a hard adventure.
The plot is original and well-explained. There are several twists and turns in the story itself and among the characters. It is a captivating story, I felt absorbed by the book. It is worth reading it!
Book No. 1 of the trilogy "The Exiled Rogue Series"
“The way this works is like this—the three of you will be put in a room we call the escape room. Here you will be asked three questions which we’d like you to answer. Your response will help us determine your perspective. The answer cannot be more than three words."
Tristan , Aurora and Sid hear the question blaring out by a speaker in the wall. Aurora thinks the speaker is a middle-aged man Mr. Xi. What is the secret he wants to reveal?
Earlier at the beginning of this science fiction novel we see Tristan meeting Maya at Wu Xing garden.
This is a beautiful place of Hong Kong set in 2039. But Tristan is not glad seeing Maya there. He has a secret to unravel personally. There Aurora meets him.
“When the trio is complete, the seekers will unite to learn. XI”
What is the message Xi conveying?
The readers have to take the adventure in a futuristic world where handwritten notes have become obsolete.
ⒷⓄⓄⓀ ⓇⒺⓋⒾⒺⓌ The codes of the exiled rogue Author: Sandeep Adnani Genre: Science Fiction My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐🌥
"It's always a mistake to truncate someone's growth by giving them unsolicited advice or help."
The story happens in the year 2039, where 3 random persons are recruited by an alien being to discover the truth of Earth and help the future human race to find a sustainable environment to live in. In the course of the story, they come across the many conflicting questions that usually create turmoil among us, but the 3 choosen ones were not of the usual mindset. They accepted each other's views and thus learnt a lot. In the end, they further enrich their knowledge by initiating with the Alien being, named as the Host, who is also an exiled rogue from his planet.
The entire story seems like a long conversation between 6 people, and some of it was repetitive for my taste. I liked the overall happy and assertive vibe, but the conversations were a bit too much to take since most of it have quite a lot of spiritual wisdom type of vibe. What I want to say here is, the story is good, but it could have been better if the conversations were smaller and more to the point. Otherwise, everything else is okay in my opinion.
I will give this book 3 and half stars, and suggest it to people who like science fiction, and a lot of knowledge (what - ifs) about our surroundings.
Ever thought about the future of this world?? How shall true history be retained??!! . This book is something interesting. But this book would have easily beenwritten in 150 pages rather than in 300 pages.I mean to say this has too much of exaggerated stuff. . The book has majorly two stories with a common string. One dates back to late 1990s and the other predicting the future of 2039. . Although this book may have tried conveying some message,i couldn't reveal it.The story begins with receiving a strange kind of glowing stoned that astonished Mathew in early part and Tristan,Aurora and Sid in the later part.In between the discovery of what made the stone so special, there was many stories that i found irrelevant and not relating to what the conclusion tried to convey. There was often use of words like "mission" and "truth".but i really couldn't what these were even after o completed the book..I feel the book has unnecessarily elongated. . In simple words i would say the book was filled with stuff full of sad stories about the earth and motivational stuff .
An insightful and ambitious story about three strangers and their existential awakening. It is so unique that it is hard to define, but if I had to describe it (albeit, loosely) I would say it is akin to stories such as "The Alchemist" or "Way of The Peaceful Warrior" in the sense that its focus is on the meaning and symbolism of the story, more than it is plot. The story mostly takes place over one day and night, and considering the time restraint the characters are quite well developed. The writing style is unique and purposeful, simplistic in its nature and poetic in its execution. I would almost call this work a "SciFi Manifesto" or "Bible" in many ways, and could really see it helping people on the search for spiritual meaning. For those who have already gone through an "awakening", you might find the meaning arbitrary, and would be more likely to enjoy the mystery aspect of the story. All in all, it was a wonderful read! For readers who love a relaxing and compelling journey into a world of complex questions and insightful answers, this book is for you.
Book: Codes of the exile rogue Author:@sandeepadnani11 ✨ Book 1 of exile rogue trilogy 🦋 . ✨“Some say time is like a river, you can never touch the same moment twice"🎆 . The year is 2039 Sid, Tristan & Aurora gets a mysterious handwritten note promising them to reveal the truth they are seeking... . I read the book in 2 sittings 🦋 I liked the book. Sid, Tristan and Aurora are total strangers with completely different personalities, I resonated with Tristan more. The whole story was more like a discussion, 50% through the novel and I didn't know where it was going. That does not mean the story was boring. The discussion was interesting enough to keep me hooked & it helped me to see through different viewpoints. however, the truth was not what I was expecting. I loved the writing style, it was simple, straightforward and perfect. I already started the origin of the exiled rogue 😁excited to know more about it 🤝 Read the book & tell me how you feel 🦋 XI ✨
The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani blew my mind! What a read it was! Totally worth the time
The storyline is set in the year 2039. The protagonists Tristan, Aurora and Sid, one fine day gets a mysterious note, which invites them to a clandestine meeting and in the process lures them towards the truth they have been seeking. But the storyline takes the amazing U-turn when they actually get there! It then makes us question, are they being tricked into giving up on their beliefs or is it just a process of acceptance they already knew existed.
The sci-fi novel is bigger than anyone can apprehend. It is very engaging and keeps up the excitement factor with every chapter. No doubt, a page turner and the best part is the, it is in a very simple style. The plot initially feels like a dream but as it proceeds, it will make you question, who is this exiled rogue?! A highly recommend book. Go for it, and you will love it.
I haven't read many trilogies. Mostly, after a part or two, I'm bored. But this is real material. Despite being a dystopian tale (not my preferred genre), this book has volume. It begins with kind of a common beginner for many dystopian novels, where some people have been searching for something and it turns out to be their most adventurous and scary journey. Trinstan, Aurora, and Sam, from 3 different backgrounds were united by a handwritten note that each of them received anonymously. They all are seeking their own realities and now there is an unknown, invisible guide for them.
The story is a conspiracy fiction with sci-fi as the main theme. The book ends with a cliffhanger which definitely means you ought to read the second one in the series to savor your curiosity. I liked the language flow. There were some useless dragging that could have been avoided; it slows down the reading pace. But the thrill was maintained all through the story. The cover and title are nice.
In 2039, life for Tristan, Aurora and Sid is ok. They live their lives and go about their days. When they are each handed a note that states: “What you seek is seeking you”, their lives get thrown into a whirlwind of an adventure as they follow the instructions left for them. In following their guide, simply known as the Host, Tristan, Aurora and Sid are exposed to a set of beliefs and thinking that seems radical to them. The secrets of the Universe as it will, are laid out to them if they only have the insight to claim the knowledge. This book is a futuristic science fiction novel with a deeper underlying thought-provoking message. With that being said, it is not a boring read, the story was entertaining and rich, the characters well fleshed out and the relationships between them were realistic. I enjoyed this book a lot.
I thought this book had an interesting story and I liked that it was set in the future. There are three people who receive a handwritten note to attend a secret meeting. At this meeting, they learn shocking and overwhelming information that most people in the world are not aware of. The author does a great job of making the story suspenseful as you are reading and wondering what this meeting is about and if it is going to be good or bad for these three people that were invited to the meeting. There were parts of the book that I felt moved at too slow a pace, but for the most part, I enjoyed reading it and I thought it was an imaginative and creative story. When I got to the end of the book, I was hoping for more but still thought it was a satisfying ending to the story. However, I would also be happy to read a sequel to this book.
Sandeep Adnani rouses the reader's curiosity when three members of different branches of the Treasure & Trash society get mysterious letters. In The Codes of the Exiled Rogue, Tristan, Aurora, and Sid are invited to find the answers they are seeking. A sense of longing and discontentment has settled on their lives. With a solution at their fingertips, they meet and discover a new world, literally and figuratively.
The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani has a sense of mystique and suspense woven in the plot. The characters are likable, though a little flat. I enjoyed this novel for the fantasy world they visit and the new ways of thinking. This books has new ideas while merge common themes for science fiction and mythology. If you need an escape from reality, The Codes of the Exiled Rogue would be an enjoyable read. It is fun, alluring, and enthralling.
The codes of the exiled rogue is a book written by Sandeep Adnani; with this book he realised his dream of becoming a novelist. This is a middle length book with a bit more than three hundred pages. This is a futuristic novel set in the year 2039. Three people, Tristan, Aurora and Sid, embark on a journey after receiving a note inviting them to a clandestine meeting where they would find out the truth they have been seeking. This reality is difficult to handle for them and there is where many questions are presented to them. This is a very good read that once I started it I found it difficult to put down. There is plenty of mystery and I ended up reading at the edge of my seat. The plot is very well developed and characters are fully described. I will certainly recommend reading this novel.
The Codes of the Exiled Rogue by Sandeep Adnani is a sci-fi novel that tells a story that is bigger than anyone can comprehend. It is the first book of The exiled rogue triology. It is the beginning of the awesome journey of our characters who wants more out of life.
The storyline is set in the year 2039, where Tristan, Aurora and Sid are invited to attend a secret meeting with an unknown person. And they accept. They will be faced with realities that they can choose to accept, absorb and be a part of something greater. Are they being tricked into abandoning their beliefs or are they finally accepting something that they knew was true all along?
The entire story seems like a long conversation between 6 people. I liked the overall happy and assertive vibe, but the conversations were a bit too much to take since most of it have quite a lot of spiritual wisdom type of vibe.
“Are you ready Tristan?” asked The Host. “I am,” Tristan said.
Who is listening to Tristan and Aurora's travel experiences? How they knew each other in a futuristic world set in 2039 in Hong Kong?
The three protagonists are Tristan, Aurora and Sid. Maya is at first asking Tristan about the secret he is hiding from her.
Parallely, in 1996, Zhang Wei and Matthew are busy with a magical stone. "Zhang Wei opened the main window in the kitchen and placed the stone so it could catch the moonlight,"
“It’s in your galaxy, so we are Milky Way neighbours, in a sense,” said The Host in a light, matter-of-fact tone.
What mystery the Host wants to indicate?
Divulge all the secrets yourself by reading the book.
"Maybe Matthew had told him something we don’t yet know, or maybe he really enjoys his food, thought Tristan."
Are you a fan of science fiction? Then this book is for you. It's set up in the year 2039. The story revolves around Tristan, Aurora, and Sid. They once get a note by an unknown host to attend a meeting. The thing here is that these guys accept it. Now, who's the host? Why did they arrange the meeting, and why were only these three selected? The journey of these three was really amazing to read.
I liked the setup of the story, the writing. It's something that will draw one's attention. The characters are also set up really well and make the readers very curious, bringing them to the edge of their seats.
Reading “The Codes of the Exiled Rogue” is like watching a movie. It’s almost as if the words on the page are automatically turned into pictures like a film would be. The author has described and written this book in a detailed and easy to read way. The book is about three people who are chosen to be revealed secrets by someone named The Host. The first few chapters had me dying inside to know what the three people were going to be told! There’s a lot of mystery and unanswered questions that makes you think. I loved the turn the book took, and where it lead. It was very satisfyingly ended. Great book!
