Readers’ Comments
‘This is a very complex computer software textbook looking at a programming language called langur, written in Go. It seems to be comprehensive and written specifically to help programmers. It is not accessible to ‘layman’ readers.’ Male reader, aged 43
‘I am interested in computers, how they work, how they don’t. But, to be honest, this was way over my head. What I can say is that the layout is excellent, the author attempting to illustrate his work with diagrams wherever possible. Anybody who works with opcode will, undoubtedly, find this fascinating and informative.’ Male reader, aged 36
‘Anybody working in programming and software architecture will find this invaluable. Comprehensive, written in a direct, no-nonsense style. However, it is very dry, almost too ‘textbook’ for my liking. But as a working tool, this is excellent. However, if you have only a passing interest in this subject, this is not for you.’ Female reader, aged 32
To Sum It Up:
‘An informative, well-written text written specifically for the computer-minded!’ The Wishing Shelf Book Awards
