Anchored: Books 1-3 is a collection of the first three books of a series surrounding a BDSM club in a mini cruise ship. Each story is a stand alone, but they do include characters from previous books. There’s minimal drama, a ton of steam, and three Dominant men all finding the perfect submissive not only in the club, but to match their life. Once you get started, you won’t want to put this collection down!

Starboard - Will Christina push Zack away, like she does everyone else, or can she possibly see a future with him? This book was short, steamy, and the perfect escape away from reality. Christina and Zack have a connection that won’t be denied, and I liked watching their chemistry play throughout the pages. Christina is so scared of any type of connection beyond with her child, but I loved watching her slowly open up to Zack and realize how much more she could gain from trusting and loving someone else, and letting them care for her in return. Zack was amazing. I loved how protective he was over Christina, and I loved how badly he just wanted to care for her and her needs. We don’t get to see too much beyond how they would work in the club or bedroom, but I liked their happily ever after and the ways they both learned to lean on each other. This book is decadent, the world Ms. Stern creates is fascinating, and I am excited to read more from this series!

Battleship - After one tiny scene together, they go their separate ways, but will Lily take a chance on something new and exciting with Thorn? I really enjoyed this book! It’s fast paced, and basically the perfect little steamy afternoon read. Lily and Thorn have amazing chemistry together, one that could be felt right from the very beginning. I felt that Lily was a super relatable character, unsure if she’s a submissive, scared and nervous about pushing herself outside of her comfort zone, and vulnerable about if she can truly trust Master Thorn or not. She had to research and ask questions and answer uncomfortable ones, too! I loved Thorn! He was the perfect Dom for Lily, the one who could push her, the one who would catch her if she fell. I liked that he thought of her just as much and was a calming force for others in the unknowns of BDSM. I really liked them together. They seemed to have fun, but could also be serious when needed. This was a great book, full of connection and trust, steam and love!

All Aboard - Surprised by her own reactions, Macie’s even more shocked at attracting the attention of Master Tony, but when their relationship goes beyond the ship, are they willing to face their future together? Oh, I liked this book! There was amazing chemistry between Macie and Anthony, and I loved how much of an emphasis communication was between partners in a BDSM scene, as well as in a relationship. Macie was brave and I liked that she pushed herself out of her comfort zone. She became more confident as she connected more with Anthony, too! Anthony was calm and soothing, but I liked that he needed just as much as he liked to give. I liked that they both had a lot of stressors going on in their work lives, but could come together, trust one another, and let some of that stress and tension go. This book is a lighter read, quick paced, and the perfect read for an afternoon or some special you time. The characters are realistic and relatable, the plot line is perfect to drift away into, and you can’t help but want more from this series!

A good collection of book about trust and finding love
I really enjoyed this collection of books. The Anchored looks like the place to go for a good night out. The Anchored is a floating sex club that is one of the best in the city. There are rules you must follow or you are in front of the owner then he will prosecute you.
This collection is about a group of women who are struggling in their own ways and its at the club that they find a man with special tastes.
You have Christina who lost her husband who was a solider in afgan. He went to war and never came home to their daughter and Christina. Its about her struggle to over come being left alone.
Lily had her eyes wide opened when Her friend Christina invites her to the anchored after a bad day at work. Lily was starting to believe she was going to turn in to the old cat lady because all she does is work and come home to her pussy cat. And on her first night she meets her Master. Can he be telling her the truth that he knows she is a submissive??
Then we meet Macie who would of thought losing a bet could open her eyes so wide. Who could of thought she could be in a Dom/submissive relationship and find the man of her dreams
Im really looking forward to reading more this amazing sex club. This short stories are just what I needed. Hot sexy and also it was nice to see that these women aren't just submissive they have a life going on around them.

Book 1: Christina & Zack

Really loved their story! Couldn’t put it down. Except at the end felt like it left off too soon for me.

Book 2: Lily & Master Thorne

OMG, these two burn the pages up. Still to me this is supposed to be a bdsm book, I guess I expected to read more on their dynamic and their relationship? I really loved these first two books but at the same time feel cheated and felt like the stories were rushed. These stories have great foundations but feel like that so much has been stripped from the story line.


Book 3: Macie & Tony

Not as hot as the first two books. Had a hard time getting into this story but once I did it was really good. Only this time the story was just enough. This one story actually left me happy for the couple and not aching for more about the couple and only reason why it got 4 Stars instead of 3 stars. I would have easily gave it 5 Stars if I got more of the story and more bdsm than a gloss over in the first two books.

Fantastic Collection of books 1-3

This is the first collection of books from the Anchored series by Sophie Stern. This collection contains the first three books - Starboard, Battleship and All Aboard. Each book centers on a different couple but they all have the same underlying background of the BDSM club Anchored and characters woven throughout.
I am not going to review each book in this review as I have read and posted individual reviews for the books. So if you are interested you can read my reviews separately. Instead I am just going to say that this collection of "med/lite" BDSM themed stories are really well written and have solid and interesting story-lines that are unique to each couple. Additionally the characters are wonderfully developed and have depth, emotion and struggles.

Listen here you scalawags! Anchored will set your heart adrift if you're not moored properly and ready to partake in the delicious scuttlebutt going around about the scandalously hot men that frequent the club only to lose their hearts to women strong enough to bring them to their own knees, at least figuratively speaking.

The storylines are completely different for Ms. Stern, and personally, I think they're probably three of her best stories so far, and I'm not just saying that because I spent 12yrs in the Navy, LoL! Though honestly, I WAS hoping to hear more Naval terminology in these books! Oh well, maybe in the second boxset.

But truthfully, Ms. Stern did an absolutely remarkable job. I keep saying how she keeps surprising me with her books, but I don't know how else to say it. Ms. Stern is truly a remarkable Author, and anyone who hasn't read one of her books should give this boxset a try. This would be the perfect way to get introduced to her work!

I enjoyed these stories. This box set contains the first 3 books in the series and they are all standalones. There is a lot of build up in the stories while we get to know the characters and they explore the club, Anchored, and BDSM. The stories are novellas so not long. I liked the build up in the stories. We get to see what the characters are each struggling with as they begin a relationship. The happy endings happen quickly. For me, it felt like the relationships were just starting and starting to work out when the book was ending and we get an epilogue to give us that final happily ever after. The build up was nice as the story didn't feel rushed because of it. I liked the box set and was highly entertained while reading it.

Daycare teachers have sexy fun. Two daycare teachers and a caterer find love at a BDSM club called Anchored, on a ship. One is still getting over the loss of her husband two years ago and is not ready for a serious relationship. She just wants one night a week to get away from her life and loneliness, and find a release. But when she least expects it she finds love and a new partner. Her two friends are fed up with meaningless dates, and lackluster romance, so she gets them to try Anchored. And they also find their other halves. Their doms to their sumissives. This is a collection of three stories featuring Anchored, a BDSM club.

The stories are well written and easy to read featuring BDSM if you hadn't already figured that out. Each book is a complete standalone, so you get new characters and situations in each book. The characters are well developed and each couple has their own particular issues to work through. Happily, at least from my perspective, these as "light" issues, not heavy angst. The results in each as are fun and steamy, making for three very fun reads. Overall, a nice collection for those that like a little spice.

Love this author and this series. Anchored club is just what these three women need and they feel comfortable here versus dating at a bar. The men are strong and observant while the women are taken care of with compassion and trust. The backstories of who, what and why they come together are just as good to read. The feelings and emotions pull you in and do not let go. Loved the endings and can not wait for more of this series.

I enjoyed the first 3 books in the Anchored series, but I felt like something was missing. These are quick reads, but I didn't feel like there was a beginning, middle, or end. There just wasn't a middle to the story, no climax (even tho there are lots of those in each story). Each story has it's own unique story & characters & there is light BDSM in each. Each does end with an HEA.

First Three Books in the Series

This three book boxset features three couples finding their special someones. Both Starboard and Battleship had great build-ups but then all of a sudden the couple is in a super committed relationship? Seemed a bit rushed to me. All Aboard had better pacing (and more likeable characters). Generally, an enjoyable trip of books.

Starboard
Christina is a war widow who goes to Anchored, a BDSM club, to have her submissive needs met. She doesn't want to get emotionally attached, so she refuses aftercare. When Zack joins the club, he is attracted to Christina, but he wants to give her aftercare. When she plays with another dom and refuses, he forces the issue with her and that is the start of their relationship.

Battleship
Lily is having a difficult time with life. The parents at daycare and her boss are exhausting. She agrees to go to Anchored with Christina and Zack and she meets Master Thorn. They are attracted right away and Master Thorn starts to teach her about submission.

All Aboard
This book is about Anthony. He is a divorce lawyer who is burned out. He meets Macie, a friend of Christina and Lily. They connect and start a relationship. I loved this story as it emphasizes communication between couples.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns hot and steamy with these three books are unique on their own. ANCHORED is a BDSM club in a former cruise ship, well-cared for and one of the safest. The stories in this boxed set are centred around this club and its members. Well-balanced between romance, suspense and scenes the stories give entertainment on multiple levels and might be remembered for their character description and plot and stay with you longer than the time you are holding the book in your hands.
