Enjoying a semi-retirement lifestyle in paradise, Logan Dodge is spending an afternoon fishing in the Lower Keys when a runaway boat crashes into a nearby island. After discovering two injured scientists on board, it soon becomes evident that it was no accident.

Have really enjoyed this whole series so far. I'm kind of bummed to know that there is only one more for me to read. Logan Dodge delivers with "Key" adventures just like Jessie McDermitt.

Really great read. Super fun and exciting. I was enthralled and kept turning th page to find out what is happening next. I am so glad inbound the Logan Dodge series.

Being the type of person that binge reads series, this series has a fun and addictive storyline.
However, it does start to feel repetitive at times, and the amount of times the word “said” is used with the dialogue is off putting. When a character asks a question it’s followed by “he said” the response is “I said” etc. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I just read the book, but I also listen to the audio book and was getting frustrated with the amount of time later “said” was written. The use of said with almost all of the dialogue makes it feel like the conversations are very monotone, and it shouldn’t be.
Will I continue the series? Absolutely! I enjoy the characters and look forward to what happens next, and I enjoy the setting in the Florida Keys.

This was a free ebook on KU. I never read a Logan Dodge mystery, nor have I read anything from the author. I'd prefer to give it a 4.5, put there are no half stars on Goodreads.

Corruption in the Keys
I continue to really enjoy Matthew Rief’s writing style. It helps that I’m familiar with the Keys and Florida Straits. But what”s I like even better is his ability to grab your attention from the beginning of each of his books and throw in so many unforeseen twists and turns. Moving on to the next book in the series.

Another round of excitement about Logan Dodge and Friends!!!
A consistently awesome story teller, I am seriously enjoying one story after! Unfortunately friends die or get killed but life goes on. Did I mention a wedding? Avid readers of the series can probably guess but I have said enough, keep up the great work!!!

Good action and we'll rounded characters hard to believe anybody could be so great at killing the bad guys but it is fiction. I enjoyed the whole series

A 2person team getting the action done.
A former CIA guy and a former lady mercenary. They play in the Caribbean and fight bad guys. What's not to like? I found it to be an enjoyable read. It left me happy.

"A High-Speed Action Novel"
I love the Caribbean Sea mystery stories. This is the first book I've read by this author. It thrilled me and I'll be reading more of his books. I was captivated and loved the characters and the adventure. It was a wild ride and I hung on tight! Highly recommend.

Another action and suspense. I wish I had his ability and desire to do what he and his friends do. Hero forever and always. Keeps you wanting to read so you can enjoy the encounters and all the ideas and action that go with the action. Thanks, your a wonderful imaginative writer.

They are all good
I have enjoyed all this series. I like the authenticity of the read. I like the tropical location and all the beachy stuff. I luke hearing about the food and even the history lessons that accompany the books.

WOW..
The story takes you from beautiful dives to slowly build up to an explosive crescendo and ending with a wedding. I have found my new hero's in the Keys.

I am re-reading this series while vacationing in Key West. I wish I could meet all of characters at one of their hangouts! Such an enjoyable series.
