Some of the questions in this book are illogical. Take page 312 for instance. This question reads, "Nine students took a test, and received scores: 27, 83, 45, 81, 22, 34, 9, and 22. What is the average score on the test?" To find the average you add up the numbers and divide by the number of numbers added. The total of these numbers is 323. Divide this by 8 and the answer is 40.38. Even if you divide by 9 the answer is 35.89. Your answer selections are A) 22, B) 38, C) 38.25, D) 45, or E) 342. The answer key says the answer is B. But something is missing here. Other than a few errors like this, the book breaks down what to expect when testing, gives sample tests, and how to aerive at the answer. This book covers reading, math, Social Studies, English-language arts, & science. Don't forget to time yourself since the test is timed. Best of luck!
