It was indeed step-by-step until... at some point the author went out of step with the reader providing a couple of very advanced pieces of code - totally overwhelming anyone starting in VBA. Add to it those errors, where the "i" is very likely mistaken for the "j" or the other way round. I can't say I haven't learnt anything, but this book is whacky and definitely needs some editing.

Very informative

Other than some minor editing mistakes, it was a well written book. It is full of useful information for the novice on proper syntax and technique.
