Hey there! Alex and Lauren here. Together, we own and run TWO successful blogs! We went from $0 to over $103,457.98 in our first year of blogging, and we now make over $100,000 per month between both of our combined blogs, and we’re going to tell you EXACTLY how we got started in this eBook. It’s going to include the ups and the downs, the great successes and the complete and utter failures, and all of the steps in between.
The authors did do a really good job of demonstrating what techniques they used to grow their income. Since I read this book on a kindle, I would have liked to see links to their posts and articles that went viral. There is quite a bit of focus on how to start and set up a blog in the first chapter. 3 &1/2 stars
Well I saw this on kindle and thought I now nothing about blogs so why not give it a go. It turned out to be quite informative, I now know what a blog is and how to construct one, although this is aimed at the american market (all the prices are in dollars), I think you can get the gist of it and work with their helpful suggestions. I can't think of a single thing I could write a blog about nor do I think I have the energy to research and write blogs on practically a daily basis, but as I say I do know much more about blogging than I did half an hour ago!!
Oh where to begin? Basically, this book is just a sales brochure for their website, which is where they tell you how to start your blog. Instead of doing that here, they waste time talking about how much they're making each month, and trips they've taken. You will get more info forcing starting from their site, but I'm not about to give them more traffic. A waste of my time, and probably yours as well.
I loved this book because they shared their actual story. They talked about their ups, downs, and lessons learned.
They faced their fears, quit their jobs, and went all in. That was my favorite part of the book. I know how to start a blog, but reading about how they overcame their fears and eventually hunkered down and succeeded was awesome.
Though some of the advice they give applies more to their particular type of blog, this free book is full of tons of really great information and inspiration. Looking very forward to looking through the additional content linked within the book, and will definitely be joining the Facebook group for bloggers.
This guide will help you to get off the fence and start working on your website/blog. It makes the simple easy. The advice will save you much time searching. Valuable resources included.
A good book on blogging using Pinterest for leads. How a young couple went "all in" to build a profitable business. Lots of advice, realistic stories and many resources. Reads well!
Outstanding well written short read for those looking to blast into the WWW as a blogger. Packed with tools in the quest for success it lays out stepping stones for a good foundation.
Alex & Lauren do a great job telling their story! They talk about their reasons why, their failures, and what things have helped them become successful! I’ve appreciated all of their content I’ve used!! Thank you guys so much!
I have some training in web design but blogging takes a different path like any new trail an experienced guide is envaluable , this was a easy read and very helpful. The advice they give speaks volumes to the new blogger.
This is not a how-to book, not really. Instead, is a sales speech for the course. At all time, it feels like an intro to buy a larger product. It teases you with bits of information hoping you bite. Not recommended at all.
There isn’t anything groundbreaking in their story. Hustle hard and you might have a viral pin. Keep creating what your audience is attracted to and success will come eventually.
Oof. Icky. An extended advertisement for their product and two products who are sponsoring them (Wordpress and Bluehost). The benefit of that is that the step by step directions are clear on setting the blog up. Further adding to the ick-factor is that the only presumed motivator for blogging is making money (which, on top of being a dubious reason to blog is also highly unlikely). Hard pass.
I was expecting general guide or blogging tips including structure not necessarily tailored for blue host. Only the beginning part was relevant, sorry.
It helps new bloggers feel more confident about starting their new blog with the resources provided and engaging personal stories and examples. Thank you guys!
I'm an aspiring writer and before coming across this book, I wasn't sure how to approach blogging. While it isn't a very extensive read, it does provide some useful tips on how to blog effectively. Since I'm a beginner, I found it useful and will most likely take some of the tips on board.
I really enjoyed this book because I have considered blogging but was not sure where to start. I know I will be starting tomorrow. I really like the opportunity of the support from a community on Facebook where questions can be asked if support is needed. If you are considering blogging, read this book and you will be ready to get started.
