Summary:
Things have gone from bad to worst as Theo and Cierra have been captured and separated. Theo only gave in to save Cierra’s life, but as we know you can trust Makram to find a way to manipulate any situation to his benefit. They were left pretty much to starve until they arrived at the imperial home world to be gifts the their father the Emperor Pollus. Cierra is sent to the harem and Theo is tortured.
Cherish and her group have gained assistance form other worlds in hopes of finding a way to overthrow the imperial's control. There goal is to go to the planet Relisse, where all life was destroyed by Makram, to take some of the Relissarium they will need to build weapons to fight. Even with the gifts they were given by Batumah may not be enough against almost overwhelming odds.
This is a fast paced and intricate series. I will be waiting to see what happens next.

Attack is book 10 of Andrew C. Broderick’s Relissarium Wars series, and it follows on directly from Dark Matter. Theo and Cierra have been taken captive by Emperor Pollus on the planet Castor. While Cierra braves the Emperor’s Harem, can Theo endure torture without revealing the Carbonari’s plans? Meanwhile, on Relisse, Cherish and various other members of the resistance are learning more about their enemy’s uses of Relissarium in their weaponry.
While reading this instalment of the Relissarium Wars, I noticed some worrying issues with continuity. The author makes a number of errors with character’s names in some of the early chapters: Nial briefly becomes Niall, and Cherish gets confused with Cierra. Is there too big a rush to publish these books on time that continuity gets ignored? These sorts of issues are sloppy and the perfectionist in me always grimaces when I notice them.
Aside from spelling errors and continuity problems, I wasn’t sure what to make of this book at first. There didn’t appear to be much story progression, and I failed to see how the plot could conceivably be brought to fruition with only two more books to go. However, just as I was ready to bemoan the lack of any surprising twists, it all suddenly came together and I couldn’t believe that it’d reached the end. I can’t wait until next week, I really need to know what happens next!

This book is not for the faint of heart.
I've sort of got used to the way the dark guys operated in this series of novels, but now it got pumped to eleven, or twelve. The two princes were bad people using ruthless methods, but the emperor plays on a completely different field. While this happens with Theo and Cierra in different kinds of prison, the rest of the team pulls out an attack on the Relissarium mining operation.
This one surprised me greatly, the events that happened here will have repercussions.
This book is not for the faint of heart.

And more surprising action. Just when you think, there is all solved, there comes another one, a big one. with dark matter. What do you think will happen when it get lose? It's only good, that Theo can heal himself. How many times can he do it?

another great read theo and cierra are taken prisoner and theo is tortured and cherish and the others go back to relisse to learn more about the weapons i really liked this one
