Tabitha Tabbitail lived in the nicest house in Honey Dell and the houses in Honey Dell were light and airy in the summer and warm and snug in the winter. Few mice lived in Honey Dell, but two did--Miss Tippee and Miss Toppee. They declared no cat was going to scare them away. How Tippee and Toppee befriended Miss Tabitha and found a permanent home in a teapot is another of Racey Helps` imaginative children's stories.

Angus Clifford Racey Helps (1913–1970) was an English children's author and illustrator. His books were written in a simple style and feature woodland creatures and birds, with illustrations by the author. He is known also for illustrating postcards, greeting cards, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and wrapping paper.
