Getting Things Done

Rate this book
Can just anyone learn to be an effective leader? Lyle E. Schaller-one of the nation's leading experts on chuch growth and planning-says YES! And he shows how in this practical, information-packed book.

The starting point, Schaller says, is to recognize that leadership skills are learned. That's why scores of major colleges and universities now offer courses in leadership development. And the same skills that help forge effective leaders in government and business can be used in the local church, in the service of ministry.

Lyle Schaller was the leadership and church growth guru back in the 70s and still influential in the 80s and 90s. Read a lot of his books as a new pastor, helped me organize my fledgling ministry at the time. Something must have stuck as I read 38 mostly Christian ministry books back in 1991. But I don't remember anything about this book other than the title and the author, and barely the title.
